22 Weeks

How I am Feeling:
Still feeling great!

Sleep:
The same

Cravings:
I am starting to hit that point where I can't eat as much as I think I can, so I have to slow down and eat smaller amounts so I don't get over stuffed!

Best Moment of the Week:
This week was really low key, which was much needed after the previous two weeks of going to Knoxville for the Nationals, the Fair and our Gender Reveal!  This is also the busiest week for me, as we started our Fall Semester, so a relaxing weekend was needed!  Since Tavid didn't have to work, we headed up to the Mall of America so we could play Pokemon Go (it is seriously the best place to catch Pokemon!), and we also used this time to go to Ikea to get a closet organizer for Baby C's closet!  We also picked up a few outfits for little man :)

We are modeling his closet after this blog post I found on Pinterest.  We will be tackling that in a few weeks!

21 Weeks - Gender Reveal!!!

How I am Feeling:
Great, no complaints here!

Sleep:
No change

Cravings:
It's fair week, so EVERYTHING! haha I had all my usuals, El Sol Tacos (multiple times), cheese curbs, chicken pita, cookies, mini donuts, smoothie, Cindy Nachos, and so such more!

Best Moment of the Week:
Its our Gender reveal week!! Seriously, the best week! We had our Anatomy Scan right away Monday  morning, and we were both so excited to finally find out what Baby Caswell was going to be!  We had decided early on that we wanted to find out first and then do a party to share the news with our family and friends.

Waiting to go into our ultrasound!

We found out what Baby C was right away, but we didn't get to put it out there until our Gender Reveal on Saturday with all of our family and friends! Incase you aren't on Facebook, here is the video of the reveal!

We are so excited to have a boy!  His ultrasound picture isn't as clear, because he was so active our ultrasound tech had a hard time catching the photos she needed!

We had a great gender reveal with all of our family and friends, even with all the rain it was an amazing day! Baby Boy Caswell is already so loved!  We have a name for him, but we are keeping that quiet until he is born. Here are some pics of the day!

We had everyone sign a book for him and mark whether they thought Baby C was a girl or a boy!

Those who thought Baby C was a boy!

Those that thought Baby C was a girl!

These were our practice swings with the chalk in an egg, we had to make sure our idea would work haha!

After our ultrasound we stopped off to get some items for him, which of course needed to be vikings!  We also ordered this onsie for him, it is just too perfect not to get him!

Tavid's Grandpa gave him this, Tavid's Dad gave it to his grandpa when he was born.

Baby C also go these adorable toys from Grandma Pat! He is for sure going to need a toy box haha

Non Gender Reveal related, we got new furniture this week! We got our refiner for the nursery and new living room furniture!

20 Weeks - Half Way!!

How I am Feeling:
I still feel great! Getting anxious to find out what Baby Caswell is!

Sleep:
Still the same. I had my second prenatal massage, and she really worked on my legs, hips back and sciatic nerve.  There were quite a few points that were tight, which makes sense why I have been having some issues with my IT bands. I walked out of my appointment feeling great! Abbie is amazing, and I am going to be seeing her monthly until baby is here! If you need a good massage, go see Abbie Frank at Sisters Salon!

Cravings:
Nothing too crazy, still lovin Ice Cream, and loving Chicken Strips. Looking forward to the fair next week! We are heading down to Iowa this week for the Knoxville Nationals, and looking forward to hitting up some of our favorite restaurants, which also includes an ice-cream shop haha!

Best Moment of this Week:
Like I said above, we headed down to Iowa for the Knoxville Nationals, it was 4 days of Dirt Track racing, my favorite! However, it was much different being pregnant.  It was extremely Hot, which made climbing up to our seats difficult.  We usually take Friday off from racing, and I was grateful for it this year.  We knew going into this year that this is probably going to be our last year going, at least for the entire week.  If we decide to go next year, it will probably just be for Saturday.  We don't want to take babe this young, and we don't want to be gone for an entire week.  Plus we want to use our vacation towards memories with Babe.  So we enjoyed the week, and we will just see what next year brings!

We hit up our favorite places to eat!

  • Jethro's BBQ in Altoona
  • Moo's BBQ in Newton
  • The Freeze in Monroe (some of the best ice cream!)
  • Midtown Cafe in Newton
  • All About Pies in Monroe
They all were as amazing as we remembered yum!  The races were great, even though Steve Kinser no longer races, it is always great to get to see old race friends, and the A main on Saturday was some of the best racing I have seen in a LONG time.  Plus, Donny Schatz didn't win! :)  Here's the few pictures we have from the weekend!

When we got home, we also had the Francis Family reunion! Which ended up being our immediate family reunion haha

19 Weeks

How I am feeling:
Still feel good, no complaints!

Sleep:
Sleep is still the same, not much to complain about.  I went to a prenatal yoga class last Sunday, and we did a stretch that was painful but felt good for my IT bands.  Hoping the studio that I went to adds a month prenatal class, cause I think that pose along with others will be good! I have a massage coming up that I have been looking forward too, I can't wait!

Cravings:
Still loving the chicken strips but I also LOVE ice cream, I just can't get enough! haha

Best Moment of the Week:
This week was pretty quiet, as of Monday August 1st we were two weeks away from our anatomy scan, which we cannot wait for! We have been getting things ready for our Gender Reveal party on Saturday August 20th.  We are excited to get to announce to all our friends and family what Baby Caswell is!  We also had Tavid's cousin Katie's wedding on Saturday.  Here is us at the reception.

Early in the day on Saturday I went up to Fairbault to meet my cousin Jessie and her husband Mark to watch them get tattoos from the tattoo artist who did my last 3 tattoos.  Definitely gave me the itch but it will be awhile before I get another one ;)

Sunday was low key for us, finished up a few things in the nursery but nothing major.  Here's a collage of each part of the nursery so far! The elephant stand was mine from when I was a kid, and I am so glad that I kept it and can now put it in my child's room! One of my mom's clients made it for me, along with a stool with my name on it as puzzle pieces and a baby doll cradle.

I sure wish we could still find things like this these days, I would love to find someone who makes a stool like the one above.  As you can see this stool got lots of love over the years! It went with me to college, my apartments and my first house! I hope I can find something like it for Baby C!
