Best Moment of the week:
This week was full of great things, on Saturday the girls and I went up to the Hospital to see Cassie and baby Addi, we had a great visit and Addi is the perfect little snuggler!
We then headed up to the cities for Stacy's Sprinkle. It was a fun afternoon filled with amazing food and great friendship!
Class of 2003 crew! We were missing cassie, but she had a good excuse of just birthing a baby ;)
Belly bumps! Baby Caswell and Baby Swenson's first hug!
Stacy and I
The whole group
We also stopped off at Nadia Cakes for cupcakes! They are some of the BEST cupcakes!
Tavid was heading up to the cities to watch the Packer/Viking game with some friends, so on Sunday we quickly got some items done in the Nursey.
Finished up these clothes dividers for his closet
Got some hooks hung up inside the close to hang things.
I also got these 3 boxes of clothes from my hairstylist Jenny! She completely spoiled us with everything she put in these boxes for Baby C!
On Monday I had my dreaded Glucose Test, since Tavid went to the cities the night before I tackled this appointment alone. I went in thinking that I was not going to pass this test, I felt things had gone too well in my pregnancy that this has to be the thing that doesn't go well. I drank the juice at 8:30, it wasn't as bad as I thought, it tasted like flat Sunkist. I then went to meet with my Dr for my 26 week appointment, and then went back to the lab to get my blood drawn. My Dr. told me that I needed to be less then 140, and she would send me a message with the official results. By about 10:30am I could see my results and I couldn't believe that I passed! Such a huge relief, cause I really didn't want to have to sit through a 3 hour test, let alone possibly have gestational diabetes. I was grateful to have passed!
We got a lot of rain during the week, and Owatonna ended up flooding pretty bad. We luckily though, had no water in our basement, despite this lake in our backyard.
We are grateful we have two sump pumps and that they held their own with all the rain!
Here is a fun little side by side of how much Baby C has grown. The picture on the left is from 7 weeks and the one on the right is 26 weeks.
Here's also some fun pictures of the Fur babies!
Little goof balls!
