35 weeks - Happy Thanksgiving!

How I am Feeling:
I have officially hit the uncomfortable stage. I can't sleep at night, I can barely but my shoes on (Tavid has had to help me haha, and I have to get creative when he isn't home haha), bending over is pretty much non-existent, I think I will have to bust out my Grandma's tweedler!! (For those who didn't have the pleasure of knowing my Grandma Donna, this was her sophisticated name for the item below haha she had fun naming things, our family still uses those names too!)

Still no swelling, I am still wearing my wedding ring, which our doctor said is a huge accomplishment! No heartburn either, so I can't complain that all I have is no sleep and not being able to bend over, I will take it! Thankfully, these hit towards the end vs early on.

Sleep:
Like I said above, it is non existent. I just can't get comfortable, I am getting up to pee constantly, and laying on my left side hurts my hip and laying on my right side baby boy dislikes majorly (at our last ultrasound, he was hanging out on my right side, so that makes sense)!

Cravings:
Nothing new.

Best Moment of the Week:
Thanksgiving was this week! We spent the day with Tavid's mom's side, and my family. It was a great day of food and fun! We have lots to be thankful for this year, on Thanksgiving day, we were 30 days away from our due date! I can't believe how fast it has gone!

I also went shopping with my family that night for black Friday. It has been our tradition for 8 years, on Friday we always head to Rochester.  My goal was to get all of the stuff we still needed for baby, and get all of our Christmas shopping done. I can say I was successful in both of my goals! Check out the back of my car! haha We also scored a steal of a deal on Toddler carseats for baby boy, it was too good to pass up, so we snatched them up! Thank you Amazon for amazing deals haha

It was a great Holiday, but so looking forward to our son being born, hopefully before Christmas so we can enjoy as a family of 3!

34 Weeks

How I am Feeling:
Other then feeling huge, I feel good. No major swelling and no heartburn, so I really can't complain!

Sleep:
Sleep has really taken a turn for the worse this week. I just can't get comfortable, each position is only good for a little bit, and I feel like I have to pee constantly! Some positions, baby boy makes it known that he hates and makes me miserable!

Cravings:
Nothing new :)

Best Moment of the Week:
Not a ton going on this week.  Working on finishing up our to do list before Baby Boy gets here.  Tavid hung up these ceramic bears in his room.  These were my dads, and also were in my nursery. It felt right for them to have a home in his also.

I also have this adorable elephant sweater on display in his room.  My Aunt Patty gave it to me at one of my showers.  My mom made it for my cousin Nathan, it goes perfectly in his room and I never knew how talented my mom was with knitting.

We also are in the process of getting our cars detailed in preparation to install the carseat.  Our neighbor does them, and he does an AMAZING job.  He did mine this past weekend, and will do Tavid's this next weekend.  If you are in need of a car detail, go to A&R Detailing in Owatonna, you won't be disappointed! It feels like I have a brand new car!

This week was our last two childbirth classes.  They really have been great, we both feel like we have learned a lot.  it was also nice to get introduced to ECFE classes here in Owatonna.  We both feel like they will be great for us to do with him and to help him grow and for us to connect with other parents.

Our last class we toured the birth center.  So great to get a feel for where our home will be when we have baby!

We had our new member class at Trinity this week.  We decided that since we are going to be getting him baptized at Trinity, that we also wanted to become members there.  We really like the church and the congregation, and it feels like the right step for our family! Looking forward to be apart of the Trinity Family and to have baby boy get involved when he gets older!

We also had our 34 week appointment, we talked through the big day a bit, and some of what we want to follow for our birth. Baby boy was quite active, and we can't believe we are so close to having him here with us!

Today was also my last day driving to Austin! I am now working out of the owatonna campus until I return from maternity leave! I will miss everyone on the Austin campus, but I am looking forward to a much shorter commute, and to be much closer to the hospital for when he makes his appearance. :)

33 Weeks

How I am Feeling:
I feel VERY pregnant haha he is getting bigger and pressing down on all kinds of things. The end is coming quite quick!

Sleep:
This week sleep has been awful. I can't get comfortable, I am up all the time to pee. Hoping I can get some relief soon.

Cravings:
Nothing too specific

Best Moment of the Week:
This week we started our Childbirth classes.  I am really glad we decided to do them, because even though its information we both know it is nice to know how Owatonna does things and to just feel more prepared for when he comes.

We also had a growth scan on Friday - which is the last day of 33 weeks :) He is measuring right on track at 34 weeks, his head is measuring a week ahead, we could see that he has some hair! We also confirmed he is still a boy haha He was still head down and moving around like crazy!

After our ultrasound we headed down to Diamond Joe to spend the night, gamble in the casino and just enjoy a little us time before our whole world changes in a short 6 weeks! We had some great luck at the casino! You will have to ask Tavid about it sometime :)

32 Weeks

How I am Feeling:
The same, some days are better then others. Just depends on where he is sitting that day.

Sleep:
The same

Cravings:
I got hit with a craving from my college Roommate Marette - She used to eat this all the time! Toast with peanut butter, butterscotch chips and chocolate chips - Tavid calls it Marette toast! So good!

Best Moment this Week:
Considering we have had some pretty busy weeks - this week was pretty low key for us! We had our 32 week appointment. Baby is doing well! Still hanging out head down, so thats good!

I also finally get to announce that my best friend Katie is pregnant and due 11 weeks after me! She is having a boy too!  That makes 4 of us friends who were pregnant together, and we have been taking this pictures since early on and I am so glad to finally get to show them! Two of the 4 babies have been born now, so that means Baby C is next!

We also got to celebrate our godsons 2nd birthday!
