I can't believe this cutie is already a month old! Time can slow down. At one month old Noah is:
8lbs 4 ounces
21 Inches long
We finally exceeded birth weight at 3 weeks old!
I am still home on maternity leave, Tavid was home for 3 weeks and went back to work January 11th. I didn't realize how much I relied on him with Noah. Any time I needed help getting ready to nurse Noah, or get me a snack while I was nursing or water, he was there to help me. So when he went back to work it tok a lot more preparation on my part to have everything I needed during my nursing sessions. The first week was an adjustment but we figured it out!
While Daddy was off work, we enjoyed adjusting to our new life and spent time seeing a few people!
Noah got to meet his friends Addi and Peyton, as well as all his Aunties and Uncles! They all stopped by the house for a bit so we could get our picture as well as exchange some christmas gifts!

A few days later we had Noah's newborn pictures taken. He was a natural and did so great! Here's a few of our favorites!
We also got a visit from some amazing ladies! Auntie Shonna, Marette and Lindsay came down to visit and meet Noah! Of course he stole their hearts! It was so great to see them and I was so appreciative that they came down to Owatonna to visit and meet Noah!

New Years Eve was low key for us, we had our friends Mursh's birthday party, where of course Noah got swooned over. Noah and I headed home early but Tavid hung out a bit to get some quality adult time with his friends.
After a few weeks at home all day every day, we decided that we needed a little adventure and headed to the MOA to walk and just get out of the house. It was so nice to just walk around and get some different scenery.
All in all, our first month was pretty great! Not much sleep going on but thats to be expected right! :) After a few weeks Noah adjusted pretty well and slipped into a pattern of sleeping a stretch of 4-6 hours and then waking for a feeding, and then would go back down for 3-4 more hours. Could have been worse! :)
Here's some more pictures of our little guy!
Noah is on the top, my baby picture is on the left and Tavid is on the right. Who does he look like? I think Daddy but all that hair is from momma!
He loves riding the roller coaster of sleep haha!
