28 Weeks

How I am Feeling:
Still feeling really good, I can't complain! In our last post I forgot to mention that we are officially in the Third Trimester! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone!

Sleep:
Each night is different but for the most part sleeping pretty good for how far we are!

Craving:
Pickle rolls up and still ice cream :). If anyone wants to make me pickle roll ups I would not turn them down!

Best Moment of the Week:
The best moment this week was my first Baby Shower! If was my friend shower thrown by my best friends Katie and Missy, and Missy's mom Julie.  It was such a great day, I felt so loved! Baby C got some amazing things and is already loved by so many!  Here are a few pictures from the event!

On Sunday we spent time finding homes for all of our amazing gifts from the shower! Here are some updated pictures of his room!  We still need to find some more items to put on a few walls, and we need to shorten his curtains (thankfully my Mother in Law Loreene is a sewer and is going to help me with that haha).  Other then that, his room is pretty much complete!

This is a gift Tavid got fromm our friends Dennis and Stacy. He loves it! haha

27 Weeks

How I am Feeling:
I have come down with a cold this week, so trying hard to get past it without having to resort to a steroid. It hasn't affected my asthma yet, but if it does then I need to resort to a steroid.  I have been drinking a ton of Orange Juice to try to kick it to the curb.  Hoping it doesn't stay around long! Other then that I still feel good!

Sleep:
Still the same :)

Cravings:
Still sugar, and since I passed my test I don't feel guilty haha

Best Moment of the Week:
We celebrated the wedding of Kelsey and Brett this week! Kelsey is my best friend Missy's little sister, and I have known Kelsey since she was born! It was great to get to celebrate them this weekend.

 Tavid and I

Missy and I

On Sunday after the Vikings beat the Panthers! Tavid and Marshall (Uncle Murshy) hung up the shelves and growth chart in the nursery.

I am looking forward to this weekend as it is my first Baby Shower!

26 Weeks

How I am Feeling:
Still feeling great! I am really lucky I have had such an easy pregnancy up to this point.

Sleep:
Still the same :)

Cravings:
Still sugar haha

Best Moment of the week:
This week was full of great things, on Saturday the girls and I went up to the Hospital to see Cassie and baby Addi, we had a great visit and Addi is the perfect little snuggler!

We then headed up to the cities for Stacy's Sprinkle. It was a fun afternoon filled with amazing food and great friendship!

Class of 2003 crew! We were missing cassie, but she had a good excuse of just birthing a baby ;)

Belly bumps! Baby Caswell and Baby Swenson's first hug!

 Stacy and I

The whole group

We also stopped off at Nadia Cakes for cupcakes! They are some of the BEST cupcakes!

Tavid was heading up to the cities to watch the Packer/Viking game with some friends, so on Sunday we quickly got some items done in the Nursey.

Finished up these clothes dividers for his closet

Got some hooks hung up inside the close to hang things.

I also got these 3 boxes of clothes from my hairstylist Jenny! She completely spoiled us with everything she put in these boxes for Baby C!

On Monday I had my dreaded Glucose Test, since Tavid went to the cities the night before I tackled this appointment alone.  I went in thinking that I was not going to pass this test, I felt things had gone too well in my pregnancy that this has to be the thing that doesn't go well.  I drank the juice at 8:30, it wasn't as bad as I thought, it tasted like flat Sunkist.  I then went to meet with my Dr for my 26 week appointment, and then went back to the lab to get my blood drawn.  My Dr. told me that I needed to be less then 140, and she would send me a message with the official results.  By about 10:30am I could see my results and I couldn't believe that I passed! Such a huge relief, cause I really didn't want to have to sit through a 3 hour test, let alone possibly have gestational diabetes. I was grateful to have passed!

We got a lot of rain during the week, and Owatonna ended up flooding pretty bad.  We luckily though, had no water in our basement, despite this lake in our backyard.

We are grateful we have two sump pumps and that they held their own with all the rain!

Here is a fun little side by side of how much Baby C has grown.  The picture on the left is from 7 weeks and the one on the right is 26 weeks.

Here's also some fun pictures of the Fur babies!

Little goof balls!

25 Weeks - Officially double digits!

How I am Feeling:
Still feeling good! The worst is having to pee constantly, each night is a little different and I am just starting to accept my fate haha.

Sleep:
Sleep isn't horrible but it isn't amazing either. I look forward to the weekends when I can take naps!

Cravings:
Nothing new, although I have gotten off the cereal band wagon and am back to drinking protein shakes.

Best Moment of the Week:
We officially hit double digits this week! I can't believe we are under 100 days (give or take) until our son will be born!  This week we got Baby C's closet all organized. I got the inspiration from this blog post I found on Pinterest

Due to the doors we have on our closet, and not wanting to leave his closet wide open like they did (I like to hide things away haha) we had to adjust the plan to fit our closet.  However, it turned out great and we are pretty happy with the extra storage now!

Closet before, Doc just had to be in the picture haha

We painted the closet white, Tavid had to do all the high up spots :)

Assembly of the Pax systems form Ikea!

 The system in the closet
Final product!

This week the first baby of our Pregger Friendship group was born! Addilyn, she is so precious! Soon Baby Swenson will be here and then Baby Caswell! Lots of babies being born in our group of friends! <3

24 Weeks

How I am Feeling:
Still feeling good! Although, the urge to pee constantly is getting worse haha.  We learned at our last ultrasound that he is hanging out on my bladder, and that is probably the reason for the constant urge to pee.  Thanks little guy, you make getting a full nights sleep impossible. lol

Sleep:
Like mentioned above, when I can sleep its great, but getting up to pee regularly is cutting into my beauty sleep! One night this past week I felt like I got up every hour, I told Tavid that little man is using my bladder as a trampoline! Hopefully he adjusts and can give me some relief this weekend to catch up on my sleep!  Other then that though, I am sleeping well.

Cravings:
I am loving Mint Ice Cream and cereal, that is the bulk of what I have been craving.  Nothing crazy, and hoping that doesn't happen haha. I am not all about the weird food combos.

Best Moment of the Week:
This week has been pretty quiet, as I mentioned in our previous post it was Labor Day weekend and Tavid had his Fantasy Football Draft, so that took up a lot of our time.  Other then that, this week was pretty low key, which is nice! We have a lot of things coming up in the next few months, so it's nice to have some down time.  This coming weekend we will be tackling the closet organizer in the Nursery.  Definitely looking forward to getting this last big project done for his room.  After this, there's just a few things left to do on our to do list, and then it will be hurry up and wait for him to arrive!

23 Weeks

How I am Feeling:
Great!

Sleep:
Still the same, some days are good some aren't.  I had another massage, and she could tell that my hips have gotten tighter. It felt good to get all those kinks worked out.

Cravings:
Food in general. I have to choose wisely, cause it doesn't take much for me to get stuffed these days!

Best Moment of the Week:
Labor Day Weekend! It was pretty low key, but Tavid has his Fantasy Football draft on Sunday, so it was great to see friends and just have a nice relaxing weekend.

Kellen wanted to be in the picture with the food haha

We didn't do much with Baby C's nursery this week, next week we will be tackling more off of our To Do list.  We did however pick up a few items for him!

I bought this entire box of 0-3 month clothes from a friend for $15, it was full of adorable clothes! He will be stylin for sure!  Family and Friends, take note if you are going to get clothes for him, he is pretty set on 0-3 month clothes, we need larger size clothes for him, 3 months and up! :)

We also got this Rock N Play off Buy and Sell.  We registered for the one that rocks on its own (Which we still want!), but figure this one would be nice to have to use downstairs, or take places.

We also ordered this adorable piggy bank for him on Target's big sale day.  I had originally seen it on a blog I am following through Pinterest, so when I saw it on Target I knew I needed to get it! We love it!

And here is an adorable picture of Doc! He has been so snuggly lately! I think he knows change is coming!
